Brad Anderson

Brad has 15+ years experience building large-scale data-driven applications, data warehouses, and web-based systems that have all the right 'ables.' Scalable, Reliable, Available, Affordable. The results are highly performant, enterprise-grade software systems from the data layer to the business logic to the presentation layer. Brad has also been an active member of the open source community contributing time and code to many projects, most notably founding dsource.org, a community for open source projects written in D. More recent open-source contributions involve Apache CouchDB and Cloudant's clustered version of CouchDB.

As founder of The Sankaty Group, Inc., Brad developed what was to become Mirus Intelligence™, a SaaS business intelligence application. Forming partnerships with point-of-sale vendors and Mirus Restaurant Solutions, he eventually sold the entire analytics platform to Mirus. Sankaty remains a consulting firm today, and most recently has enjoyed engagements at Fortune 1000 companies such as Southwest Airlines, Bayer, BMC, Apple, Halliburton, Caterpillar, and 3M. Brad is also an avid golfer, but maintains a handicap that is much too high.
